Centered around this mountain is Mt. Apoi Geopark.

花の山・奇跡の山と呼ばれるアポイ岳。
このアポイ岳を中心としたアポイ岳ジオパーク。

The Visitor Center is a facility that aims to enhance visitor enjoyment of Mt. Apoi Geopark by providing information about the topography, geology, nature, history, culture, and industry of Samani Town through exhibits, videos and descriptions.

ビジターセンターは、アポイ岳ジオパークをより楽しんでもらうために、様似町の地形・地質、自然、歴史・文化・産業に関する展示や映像、解説などの情報提供を行っている施設です。

Inside the building are various attractions including a huge aerial map 3 meters in width, a guide to Ainu placenames that uses projection mapping onto a topographical model of Mt. Apoi Geopark, a panel exhibit introducing Ainu legends, and more.

なかに入ると幅3メートルの巨大な鳥瞰図、アポイ岳ジオパークの地形模型でのプロジェクションマッピングによるアイヌ語地名紹介、アイヌの伝説紹介パネルなど、見どころがたくさん。

Real-time information on alpine plants and brown bear sightings is also available to enhance visitors' safety and enjoyment when climbing Mt. Apoi.

より楽しく、より安全にアポイ岳登山ができるよう、高山植物やヒグマなどのリアルタイム情報の提供も行っています。
